Each song will require a separate application to qualify for judging.
Entrants who are under the age of 18 must supply written permission from their parent/legal guardian for inclusion in the concert / performance(s).
Songwriters must own all rights to the songs they enter or have permission from their publishing companies for inclusion on this project if applicable. Blooming-Tunes will not be responsible for obligation to publishing, promoter, producers or agents of winning Songwriters. Songwriters give permission for their songs to be included in the compilation CD if they are selected as winners. Furthermore, they understand that winning Songwriters continue to own the rights to their songs and understand that winning entries will be given airplay for promotion purposes. You will be given full credit for the creation of your songs and by applying for inclusion in the Blooming-Tunes project - Songwriters agree to give permission for their winning entries to be included on the 2nd Annual Blooming-Tunes Compilation CD and use of their song (along with other winning entries) for promotion/sale of Blooming-Tunes 3rd Annual CD/Concert. Writers will NOT own any rights to the Compilation CD, but may use the CD for their personal promotion without obligation to the promoter.
Each winner will receive 5 copies of the 3rd Annual Blooming-Tunes CD for their personal use if selected for inclusion on CD and 2 tickets to the ‘Concert Under the Stars’ located at Brian Park in Bloomington IN on South Henderson Street.
By singing this application – you confirm that you have read and understand the terms and condition of the application for entry – and agree to those terms. You also confirm that you will be available to perform on the 3rd Annual Blooming-Tunes Concert’ as described above. If selected as a top five winner, you will be given the opportunity to perform your winning entry at the 3rd Annual Blooming-Tunes Concert and may be asked to do a live radio interview and or perform your winning entry for promotional purposes.
